Your GroundingWell™ Fitted Sheet is woven with silver threads that are naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so it needs far less washing than an ordinary sheet. Even so, keeping it free of sweat and skin oils helps protect its conductivity.
- Hand washing is best, or use a gentle machine cycle
- Only ever use cold water
- Air-dry only — never tumble dry
- Wait an hour after applying lotions or body oils before touching the sheets
- Do not wash with bleach or fabric softener
- Avoid whitening or oxi-detergents
- Skip detergents containing oils such as lavender or coconut oil
- Do not use dryer sheets
- Do not apply lotions or body oils to your skin right before bed
- Do not iron
Using any of the products above can damage the silver threads and lessen the sheet's effectiveness or leave it nonconductive. Follow these guidelines and your GroundingWell™ Fitted Sheet will keep its conductive properties and its health benefits for much longer.
